The Ban on Ephedra

So you want to know if there is a ban on ephedra?

OK, I will tell you straight up.

There is a ban on ephedra.

The ephedra ban extends to all ephedra products, such as ephedra diet pills or weight loss pills and energy products.

As of August, 2006 a ruling by the 10th U.S. Court of Appeals upheld the FDA’s ban on all ephedra products making it illegal to sell in the United States.

There is plenty of confusion about the legality of ephedra because it has actually gone back and forth.

Over 3 years ago all the major brands of ephedra products like Stacker 2 with ephedra, Xenadrine with ephedra, Hydroxycut with ephedra and Metabolife 356 all stopped making their diet products with this effective ingredient.

Some of these companies went bankrupt due to lawsuits.

If you see anyone selling any of these products, the product is extremely old or it is fake. Especially if they try to convince you that it has a good date code still on the bottle.

Millions of people used ephedra to help lose weight while it was on the market. Many people continued to use it because they thought the herb to be effective at helping them to lose weight.

Despite the ban on ephedra millions of people still search for this herb.
